Who we are

Museu Raset is a museum of modern art that exhibits works of art of the Swiss-Dutch Bueler-Bernard family collection. Before opening the museum Tony Bueler and Hilde Bernard lived in Holland for 30 years, where their enthusiasm for art collecting began. With dedication, vision and a large dose of passion they scouted around countless museums, galleries, art fairs and auction houses in Holland and abroad. During their time as collectors, the couple acquainted a lot of art professionals, with many of whom they formed close partnerships and friendships. They amassed a distinctive private collection that is testimony of their journey of artistic exploration. Their home came to be packed with artistic treasures, from the floor to (and including!) the ceiling. By chance, whilst on holiday in Llança, Spain, friends acquainted Tony with a handsome mansion in the hamlet Raset, Cervià de Ter. The couple were charmed by it and saw it as the right time to embark on a new adventure. They opened the doors of Museu Raset in 2005.

Four gallery spaces are currently open to the public with changing exhibitions.  A further 16 galleries are waiting to undergo renovations.
